You Have Spiritual Gifts!

Good Morning, Good Afeternon and Good Evening,

If you are an american, engish, canadian, australian or if you are from another country other Brazil, you don't have to be out of this blog just because it is brazilian. 

God says in the biblie that we have to proclaim the Word of Salvation all over the world nowadays the most widely spoken language in the world is the English. So, I will try to comply with the command of Jesus. 

"He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation"".

The name of this blog in english is: "Bible, Coffee and Pen"

The author is Anna Júlia Dias. I'm eighteen, I always loved to write, I am in love with the word of God since I started to read. So I made this blog to comply the order of God and because I love this! 

This is the first text in english of blog, I hope you like and wish that you can be blessed by Jesus through this text and this blog!

 Today God put in my heart a word to everyone who loves the Lord and serves in His kingdom. 

"And in these days came prophets from Jerusalem unto Antioch. And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar. Then the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief unto the brethren which dwelt in Judaea: Which also they did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul."

Acts 11.27-30

On days of Cluadius Caeser, all the world there would be a great dearth. Against this scenario, the disciples decided helping them.

I paid attention to word "decided". No one forced them. But they made this because they knew that Jesus would do this too. 

Further I loved the phrase "every man according to his ability". Everyone has a gift that God gave us. And we need to find out and use this to His Glory. Everybody says to me that my gift is the writing. And I really love to do this! This is one of other reasons that I made this blog. 

You can say to yourself: "I don't have any gift". But I say to you: "If you are a child of God, you have gift". 

When God lives in us, we received the Holy Spirit and He gave us the gift (or gifts). 

"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the Earth."

Acts 1.8

"And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance."  

Acts 2.3-4

"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."

Acts 2.38"And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness."

Acts 4.31

"When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied."

Acts 19.5-6

"For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost."

2 Peter 1.21

Now you know that you have a [or more] gift(s). But what's gifts? In 1 Corinthians 12, Romans 12 and  Ephesians 4 we find a list of the Holy Spirit's gifts: 

1. Wisdom;
2. Science (Dream, visions, revelations, etc.);
3. Faith; 
4. Cure; 
5. Wonders; 
6. Prophecy;
7. Discernment of spirits;
8. Variety of languages; 
9. Language interpretations; 
10. Miracles.  

This the list of gifts. Pray to God NOW and try to find out what uw your Holy Spirit's gift. Because you cannot spend more time just finding your gift. You need to act!!
