Immersion

When we studied a new language we need to have determination and perseverance. Furthermore, we must put everything that our routine in this language. Like our cellphone, our house, our friends, our books, etc. 

This technique is called ”immersion”. 

For me, it is the way more efficient to learn a new language faster. 

God put in my heart a selection about the ”immersion”. Let's read about it! 

Good reading! I hope you love it! 

Like a new language, we are not born knowing about the Bible! So, we need to immerse ourselves in the world of God! 

But, how can I do it? 

1. Read the Bible every day! ( Joshua 1.8) 

”Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.”

We don't need to read a lot, but we need to read every day! It's like to eat. We can't eat a lot of food, but we should eat every day because our body needs vitamins. Just like our heart and our soul. 

2. Put verses in the wall of your house, in wallpaper of cellphone. (Deuteronomy‬ ‭6:5-9

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.”

What we see every time, we keep and we never forget! So, we can’t forget the Word of God! 

It’s so good to put verses in all your routine because when you feel bad, this verse can be helpful. 

3. Listen to gospel music! (Psalm 135.3)

“Praise the Lord, for the Lord is good; sing praise to his name, for that is pleasant.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭135:3‬ ‭

I love country music. I can't lie. But, when I hear country music I feel different emotions when I hear gospel music. Country music makes me feel anxious, and gospel music gives me peace. 

Further, God makes our lips, our tongue and gave us a voice. So only He deserves our sings and worship! 

4. Tell about Jesus (Mark‬ ‭16:15‬)

“He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”

When we learn a new language, we can't just input our knowledge. We need output! And we output if we tell! 

We need to talk about Jesus with our friends, our family, and the people around us. 

5. Pray all the time (1 Timothy‬ ‭2:8‬)

“Therefore I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or disputing.”

My mother is my example when I tell about pray! She prays in everywhere, in every situation, all the time! Since the simple things until the most complicated things. And this reflects a dependent’s life of God! 

We need to be like my mum! 

Pray to God when we can't realize a test. When we don't have money to buy something important. Pray to ask a direction. Pray to ask wise. Yeah! We need to pray for everything! 

Our challenge for this weekend (and for a lifetime) is to immerse yourself in God's world!
